About The Role

When you click through a business’s social media profiles, do you have the tendency to think, “What are they doing? I could fix this!”? Does brand awareness, influencer marketing, and engaging with followers through social media get your blood pumping? If the first thing you do when you wake up in the morning is grab your phone and check your socials, we may just have the job for you!

As Amplomedia’s Social Media Strategist, you will be leading all aspects of our clients' social media communications across all platforms. You will also be responsible for surveilling market developments and changes, as well as the current social landscapes for our clients and their competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and implement thorough social media strategies and plans for our clients that engage audiences and ultimately result in customer acquisition.
  • Strategize with the Amplomedia creative team to develop social media campaigns.
  • Curate and lead the creation of unique and effective content for all platforms.
  • Stay up to date on developing industry and digital trends.
  • Account administration, social media calendar creation, community management, and analytics.


  • 3-5 years of experience crafting social media content calendars, playbooks, presentations, slide decks, and training.
  • 3-5 years of experience creating social media content with the ability to analyze performance and modify approaches to achieve the best results.
  • Possesses an awareness of current and historical social media trends.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • A data-driven method for monitoring social media engagement and performance.
  • Collaborative, cooperative, and network-oriented.
  • Proven track record of creating new and sustainable processes pertaining to social media content curation.
  • Social influencer recruitment and management experience.
